Abstract: The project was prepared in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology he used as an escape route to the people inside the building incase of the disaster. The fire escape ladder was used to make another route to escape the building when the primary exit was blocked, the ladder was placed to the back of the building of Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology. The control panel of the ladder was placed at the second floor of the building beside of display room. The control has “up” and “down” push button used to operate the ladder up and down. The control panel was connected to the fire alarm so that incase the fire alarm rang the ladder will work automatically. The materials used in the controls was procured from Raon St. Quiapo, Manila. It included the push button, indicator light, 12vdc relay, and terminal block. For the materials used on the ladder, it was fabricated to Joel Steels and Fabrication. The development of an automatic fire escape ladder was made in order to help the people inside the building when a disaster occurs. It could be used as a means of learning about motor, specifically the roller shutter motor.
