An Analytical Study of Industrial Engineering Graduates from Cavite State University

Abstract: The study was conducted primarily to identify the employability and marketability of the industrial engineering graduates from Cavite State University. The participants of this study covered the overall population of the industrial engineering graduates from Cavite State University which is comprised of 199 graduates, but the retrieval rate of the data from the participants was 90.95 percent (181 graduates). The modified standard questionnaire from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was used in data gathering. Significant factors that are related to employability of the respondents were identified. These factors are the school related factors (faculty, curriculum and student activities) and graduate related factors (knowledge, skills, and ability) that have low positive correlation to very weak relationship to employability of the graduates.
