Gender-Based Differentiation among Police Officers in Cavite

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze a gender-based differentiation among police officers in five municipalities, HQS Cavite, Cavite Tourist Police Unit, Silang MPS, Dasmariñas CCPS and Bacoor CCPS, which has the most number of female in Cavite. The researchers utilized the descriptive method using the standard survey questionnaire from Gender and Development. The percentages, weighted mean, median, mode and standard deviation were computed for the profile of the respondents in terms of personal characteristics (age, civil status, gender, educational attainment, rank, and number of years in service. In selecting the respondents, convenience sampling technique was used. The results of the study were also discussed.
