Abstract: A machine for cleaning, sanding, and polishing parquet, painted linoleum, plasticized polyvinyl chloride resin, and tile floors. Floor polishers may be manual, mechanical, or electric. Some floor polishers are equipped with a device for cleaning up the dust that forms when floors are cleaned and polished, as well as with “floating” brushes or a tank and attachments for washing floors and shampooing carpets (with a device to prevent liquid from splashing). They are also manufactured with special attachments for sanding and polishing furniture and automobile bodies and in combination with vacuum cleaners. The study focused on cleaning and polishing the floor to cope up the needs of the departments, houses, facilities etc. lacks in cleaning equipment. The development of an Arduino-based smart floor polisher was conducted following the different methods and strategies these methods include: canvassing and purchasing of materials used in the design project; constructing the design project; wiring installation; constructing the frame; testing and evaluations. The all parts of the design project were mounted in a frame made up of angular bar that can hold the component and placed in different location using a bolts and knots. The floor polisher was place in the front of the frame while battery is in the middle part and the other components are in the rear part of the frame. The design project was proven to be useful for the instructor, students and concerned personnel. The design project serves as a cleaner and polisher that can be used in the room’s floor of building, the design project cost a total amount of P 38,996.00.
