Risk Assessment at Selected Registered Junkshops in Cavite

Abstract: The study was conducted at selected registered junkshops in Cavite from August 2016 to March 2017. The main purpose of this study was to determine the possible risks and suggest possible solutions to the identified risks at selected registered junkshops in Cavite, to identify the risk present knowing the possible hazards at selected registered junkshops in Cavite, and suggest possible recommendations for the effectiveness of the control measures. Statistical methods such as risk evaluation and risk ranking matrix were used to analyze the data. In this study, control measures such as eliminating, substitution, isolation, engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment (PPE) controls was used to eliminate the risk resulted from the identified hazards and minimize the level of risk.
